About us

The war has changed our world, but it has not destroyed what matters most:
humanity, compassion, and faith in the goodness of people.

We created AVIDES. Help for Ukraine to provide urgent support to those who need it most: children, people with disabilities, displaced families, hospitals, and communities affected by the conflict.

Our European warehouses, logistics network, supply chain systems, and dedicated local teams work hand  in hand  to support the AVIDES. Help for Ukraine initiative, ensuring that vital aid reaches those in need — swiftly and efficiently.

Our mission is to give people a chance at life, dignity, and hope. We strive to make sure that every child feels cared for, every family receives the support they need, and every act of help brings light and relief in these challenging times.

Children with special needs

The war has taken away children’s carefree childhood, their homes, and their sense of safety. But for children with special needs, it has brought a double burden — pain, fear, and challenges that are especially difficult for them to endure.

In these difficult times, when Ukraine’s economy is under immense pressure from wartime expenses, they are among the most vulnerable. What we witnessed in Lutsk in October 2023 was truly heartbreaking — many children faced the cold, the silence, and the fear.

Elderly people

The elderly in Ukraine are suffering terribly.
War has taken their livelihoods, and many have simply nowhere to go. Their insufficient pensions barely cover food or heating, and there is little to no support to help them.

Alone and struggling, they are forced to endure conditions no one should face. After a lifetime of hard work, they have been left with nothing. They deserve warmth, dignity, and the basic right to live in peace.
They need help - now. The world must not turn away.

Russian invasion of Ukraine

On February 24, 2022, under Vladimir Putin's orders, Russia launched a brutal invasion of Ukraine, plunging the nation into war. The international community condemned this act of aggression, imposing severe sanctions on Russia while protests erupted worldwide in solidarity with Ukraine.

Despite facing overwhelming odds, the Ukrainian people stood united in defense of their homeland, displaying extraordinary courage and resilience.
This tragic day marked the start of a devastating conflict that has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives, leaving countless families grieving and sparking a profound humanitarian crisis.

Abandoned Animals in Ukraine

The issue of stray animals in Ukraine existed long before the full-scale war, often overlooked and unaddressed. However, Russia’s invasion has drastically worsened the crisis, leading to a surge in abandoned pets. Some animals are directly harmed by shelling, while others lose their homes and owners due to the chaos of war.
